Weighing in at a robust 330g unstrung—a rarity in the modern game—the 97H possesses rock-solid stability and serious plow through. The latest version offers a slightly thicker beam than previous models, but it's still thin and flexible when compared to the competition, bringing a low-powered, control-oriented response with great feel. So pace comes from being able to swing the heavy frame and use its mass to dominate contact.
This slim-fitting polo is made with stretchy, cooling material (Xylitol) that is designed to absorb heat and perspiration. Lab testing has shown it to actually lower body temperature during play. UV protection defends against harmful rays and carbon fibers woven into the fabric help remove static build-up. The collar has a two-button placket, with contrast color seams and color block sleeves.
Hurkacz is decked out in head-to-toe Yonex, including his VCORE Pro 97H racquet.
The very same technologies inhabit the Paris Short. It's constructed with a 9-inch inseam to sit comfortably on the leg, and a flat, elastic waistband providing a custom fit. The piece comes in a stylish pinstripe design.
Loaded with features that bring top-notch stability and support, the Eclipsion is Yonex's high-performance model. Added spacing around the forefoot gives this latest an improved fit and greater comfort over the previous model. Power Cushion+ delivers superior shock absorption on harsh court landings and repulsion for faster footwork. And the 3D graphite sheet in the midfoot strengthens the shoe to maintain integrity during the most aggressive cuts.
